I AM Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra is a style of yoga that is over 2000 years old. In I AM Yoga Nidra, the individual is guided into deep relaxation states using breath, movement and guided imagery. As a form of meditation, Yoga Nidra has been shown to aid in anxiety, depression, and all stress-related health issues.

If doing the Nidra on Zoom, prepare a quiet space to lay down. Have a blanket available if possible. If in person, rest your arms on the table and place your head on your arms. During the Nidra, you can experience deep states of relaxation. (A 35 minute Nidra is equivalent to 3 hours of deep sleep.)

Nidra’s are beneficial before bedtime to fall asleep, and can be used any time in home/ hospital/ school/ work settings to restore sleep or alleviate stress
